It seems like a lot of people “home in” on to this page. No, you do not have my permission to copy it, quote it or do anything else with it. If you want a website go to Blue Host.com and buy your own web page. It costs about $30, and the WordPress format program is a free download from Blue Host.com. There is “Microsoft for Dummies.com”, a free site on line, that has free WordPress customizing instructions.
There are eight seperate poems here. Each three lines are actually a Halku, a Japanese form poem, consisting of 5-7-5 syllables. The program would not let me put a space between each three lines. Read down the first column and then go to the top of the second column. Haiku, traditionaly, include some aspect of Nature. Two different years, I made it a point to write at least one poem, a Haiku, a day. Virtually every poem was written singlely and not actually related to one another, but I’m kind of more of a storyteller. So, I have attempted to put them into a sequence of settling down to sleep and falling into dreams.
The wind through the trees I close my eyes, in
Appears to be twittering The coolness of the evening’s
Many messages Still, as the light fades
Clouds breaking the sun, The scent of the trees
The breezes zephering in In the chill of the night air
Whispers of nature…. Soothes me, as I dream
.The sun peeks through the Contrivance flowers
Trees as conversations float Behind velvet curtains in
By in muted waves. A bed of desires.
Rain washes away Pearls drop through my
The heat and the dust leaving cool Fingers, beautiful and warm
Night air for sleeping. Heavy against skin….
